1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy describes how ToggleKR ("we," "our," or the "Service," located at www.togglekr.com) handles information in connection with your use of the Service. ToggleKR is operated by an individual based in the Republic of Korea.

By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

2. Scope

The Service is a static, content-only website. It does not require user registration and does not currently provide features such as accounts, comments, posts, likes, or newsletter subscriptions. As a result, we do not actively collect personal information that you would typically provide through such features.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Service. It does not apply to third-party websites or services that may be linked from the Service.

3. Information Processed in Connection with the Service

3.1 Information Processed by Hosting Infrastructure (Cloudflare)

The Service is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. As part of standard web hosting and security operations, Cloudflare automatically processes the following information when you access the Service:

  • IP address
  • User-Agent (browser and device information)
  • Referrer URL
  • Server access logs
  • Security cookies (such as '__cf_bm') used for bot detection and DDoS mitigation

This processing is performed by Cloudflare and is governed by Cloudflare's own privacy policy. We do not maintain our own server logs. However, depending on the features enabled in our Cloudflare account, Cloudflare may make available limited logs, security events, or aggregated analytics to us for hosting, security, abuse prevention, and performance purposes.

3.2 Analytics

The Service may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. It aggregates anonymous data such as page views and referrer information for the purpose of understanding overall site usage.

3.3 Advertising

The Service may use Google AdSense to display advertisements. When advertising is implemented, Google AdSense and its third-party vendors may use cookies, web beacons, device identifiers, and similar technologies to:

  • Serve advertisements based on your prior visits to the Service or other websites;
  • Measure ad performance and reach;
  • Prevent fraud and abuse.

When advertising is implemented, a cookie consent mechanism will be deployed to obtain your consent where required by applicable law.

3.4 Local Storage and Cookies for Functional Use

The Service may use browser local storage or cookies to store user preferences and improve functionality, including but not limited to:

  • Color theme preference
  • Language selection
  • Toggle state (Korean/English display preference)

These data are stored locally on your device, are used solely for functional purposes, and are not transmitted to or accessed by us.

In addition, the Nuxt Content module that powers the Service may use local storage or cookies for technical functionality necessary for content delivery.

3.5 Contact

The Contact page provides only an email address (annyeong@togglekr.com). The Service does not include a contact form and does not collect any personal information through the Contact page itself. If you choose to send us an email, we will receive the information you include in your message (such as your email address and the content of the message) for the sole purpose of responding to your inquiry.

4. How Information Is Used

Information processed in connection with the Service is used solely for the following purposes:

  • Providing and maintaining the Service;
  • Ensuring the security and integrity of the Service;
  • Understanding aggregate usage patterns through privacy-friendly analytics;
  • Displaying advertisements (when implemented);
  • Storing user preferences locally on your device for functional purposes;
  • Responding to email inquiries.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information for monetary consideration. Information may be processed by the following third-party service providers as necessary for the operation of the Service:

  • Cloudflare — hosting, content delivery, security, and analytics infrastructure
  • Google AdSense — advertising (when implemented)

These third parties process information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We may also disclose information if required to do so by applicable law or in response to valid legal requests.

6. Data Retention

We do not directly retain personal information from ordinary website browsing, except where you voluntarily contact us by email. If you contact us by email, we retain your email address and the content of your message for the purpose of responding to your inquiry and handling any follow-up or dispute-related matters, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

Data processed by third-party service providers is retained according to their respective retention policies. Local storage and cookie data on your device persist until you clear them through your browser settings or until they expire according to the technology used.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal information.

7.1 General Rights

  • The right to access information held about you;
  • The right to request correction of inaccurate information;
  • The right to request deletion of your information;
  • The right to object to or restrict the processing of your information;

7.2 European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, and Switzerland

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 years of age (or under 16 in jurisdictions where a higher minimum age applies, including the European Economic Area). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. 9. International Data Transfers

The Service is operated from the Republic of Korea and uses third-party service providers (such as Cloudflare and Google) that may process information in various jurisdictions, including the United States. By using the Service, you acknowledge that information may be transferred to and processed in countries that may have data protection laws different from those of your country of residence.

10. Security

We rely on the security measures provided by Cloudflare and other reputable third-party service providers. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Governing Law

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to its conflict of law provisions, and without prejudice to any mandatory data protection rights afforded to you by the laws of your country of residence.

12. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. It is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Service after any changes take effect constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised Privacy Policy.
